ECG 1-3 combines improvisation with the rich harmonics of the symphonic gong, recorded with multiple microphones and treated electronically. Recorded through the Easter weekend of 2023, the Easter story was in mind, as was the Jean Cocteau movie, Orphée, and its use of voices transmitted from the afterlife, representing the Easter-like interregnum between death and return.

Recorded using Soma Ether, Soma Cosmos, Paiste Symphonic Gong, Soma Lyra, Acoustic guitar and Dirty Electronics Mute synth.
